Clearly a confrontation of epic proportion with this unknown person is called for, including unflattering statements about their parents and upbringing. Unfortunately, there are many unforeseen and unpredictable outcomes to this approach.

Alternatives might include teaching Roo some new places to go in the middle of the night or purchasing a paper machete and taking off one-eighth of an inch off the matt every two to three weeks.

To go truly Seinfeldian: Note the shoe at the end of the hall. One could purchase the exact same shoe, some 10W-60 motor oil and a Tupper wear container that could hold the aforementioned shoe. One could leave a ruining stain on the doormat and deflect the blame to an alternate neighbor. With a slight modification to the plan, buy the shoe three sizes too large, so that if there is an uncomfortable confrontation involving some type of authority, the glove, I mean shoe will not fit and they will have to acquit, making the new neighbor seem ever so much batty in the eyes of the world.

Or you could just make peace with it. Glad you are home, safe travels.

Dang lady, that sounds like an itinerary I would draft... Except I would lay over in Amsterdam.

The Rijksmuseum is my favorite place in all of Europe. I've been know to take the train all the way across the country to spend a few hours there. Even if I only had 5 minutes I would pay to go and run up the stairs to see the statue of cupid.

Glad you were able to let others help you. Who knows, it might be good for you. Enjoy Spain. It's a special place. Remember, if you have any Euros left over, you might be able to have a house built for yourself ;-)

I am hardcore impressed that you made it to Mile 10. That being said, I'm also glad that you got into the wagon and let them ply you with glazed delights. There are many more finish lines ahead - this is but a season.

Hypothetical Windowseat Guy sounds like he was a real treat. To be totally honest, since I have a mildly vindictive side, I probably would have used the crutch to create some sort of obstruction. Thank you for being stronger than me.

p.s. That you have that tray just explains...everything. I love it sick.
